The Glendive Community Cancer Fund has joined forces with the former Hike For Hope Committee, and there will once again be a Hike for Hope. It will now be a fundraiser for Glendive Community Cancer Fund in helping cancer patients in the area with some financial assistance. These patients may be your neighbors, friends and/or family. And all money raised will go directly to them.

The event will kick off at the Sagebrush Senior Center this year, as the road into Makoshika State Park will still be closed. We will begin with registration from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (you can also preregister). Everyone who registers will get a t-shirt and a rock that has been painted on one side, and can have a name on the other side in honor or in memory of whoever you choose. Additional rocks can be purchased at $5 each. Following registration we will have a short program before beginning our hike. The hike will take us from the Senior Center to the Visitor Center and on to the Shelter, from which we will return.

Everyone is invited to share in this event and help us help those who are fighting cancer.
