Odessia Linwood from Wibaux, MT made her commitment to play volleyball at Dawson Community College.
She was on the Honor Roll 10 quarters, while at Wibaux High School. Linwood also received Academic All-State for 2 years, made it to State for volleyball her junior year, and State in basketball her senior year. She was the leader in blocks her senior year.
Linwood received outstanding senior female athlete and received All-Conference volleyball her senior year. She says, “I chose to come to DCC because it is a smaller community and I will have a better chance of getting to know everyone. Coming to DCC, I will also get a chance to play the sport I love and being closer to home.”
Coach Dina Fritz said, “Odessia is a great player to get on our team for the fall. She will be a great asset for our team on the front line with her blocking capabilities. I am excited to see what the fall brings.”
