6’1″ Ashya Klopfenstein, a freshman center from Dawson Community College, was selected as the Mon-Dak Player of the Week.
During a 1-1 week for the Lady Buccaneers which included a win over Sheridan College, she scored 20 points, shooting 53% from the field to go along with 28 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals.
Ashya is from Howe, Indiana and she attended Westfield High School.
