200 Eastern Montana athletes will bowl at the Fireside & Sunset Lanes in the statewide Championships for Special Olympics Montana September 30, 2018 in Billings. Teams competing are from: Billings, Bozeman – Gallatin Valley, Belgrade, Glendive, Laurel, Lewistown, Livingston, Miles City, Red Lodge and Stillwater. They will bowl Sunday morning in singles, doubles and team bowling in the afternoon. A Strikes for Special Olympics Team from Glendive has 8 Special Olympics athletes competing in singles and doubles. Doubles competition utilizes the Baker System which is where 4 games are bowled with a combined effort of both players. Doubles partners are: Gordon Holzemer and Anton Veverka, Josh Miller and Derek Atwell, AJ Koepke and Willis Bonner, and Lyn Pierce and Mary Rose Haas. Many of these athletes have been bowling for over 25 years. Good Luck in Billings!
