GLENDIVE – Miles City’s boys won five of the 10 track events, while Laurel’s girls relied on team depth to bring home Eastern A track and field divisional titles Saturday in Glendive.

Keith Vanderlaan (100m) and Kip Krebsbach (200m) each won a race, and both ran on Miles City’s winning 4×100 relay team. The Cowboys also won the 4×400 relay, and Kaden Stradley added a win in the 300 hurdles.

Belgrade’s Dawson Fowler won all three jumping events in the two-day meet, including setting new PR’s in the long jump (21’2″) and triple jump (44’2″) – the latter is tied for the third best mark in Montana this season.

Sidney’s Hughes brothers won each of their events – Carter took home the shot put and discus crowns, while Garrison became the first person in Montana history to clear 17′ in the pole vault.

Laurel’s Levi Taylor won both the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs to help the Locos finish second in the team standings. The junior holds the top Class A marks in each event.

The Locomotive girls got wins from Paige O’Toole (discus) and Jessica LeFevre (javelin) as they racked up 140 team points. Laurel also won the 4×100 relay.

Billings Central freshman Kellan Wahl impressed with wins in the 200 meters and triple jump. Miles City’s Morgan Vosler (1600m, 3200m) and Lewistown’s Marissa James (100 hurdles, high jump) also were multiple-event winners.

Belgrade finished second in the girls team standings with 106 points, while Miles City was third (93).
