The Lower Yellowstone Chapter of ABATE (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) of Montana is a nonprofit organization promoting motorcycle education, safety and awareness. We will be holding our 25th Annual Glendive Area Toy Run on December 14, 2018.

This community project collects new toys, or cash donations to purchase new toys, for children in the area who are in need. Last year we gathered approximately $17,300 in toys that were distributed throughout Glendive, along with some going to Terry. In the past we have also had toys go to Baker, Circle, Richey and Wibaux. We raise this money through donations from area businesses and individuals, and that support is what keeps our Toy Run going. Once we have all the toys and items purchased, for kids ages infant through 18, we take them to Break Forth Bible Church, where they wrap and deliver the toys.

We are currently collecting donations for this event. If you are interested in making a contribution that could make a world of difference in the life of a child please let us know. All donations are tax deductible, and will be a blessing to a family in need. Donations can be mailed to: Toy Run, Lower Yellowstone Chapter of ABATE, P.O. ATTENTION LOWER YELLOWSTONE CHAPTER MEMBERS!

We will again be meeting at the Beer Jug from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., where we will gather all the donations and then head out to shop for more toys with the cash donated, followed by delivering them to the church to be wrapped and delivered to children in the area.

All members that can are asked to solicit donations from area businesses and individuals, and turn the money and/or toys in by the 14th. Do you own a business? If so, please consider making a donation. Or, if you work, ask your employer if they would like to make a donation. Do you want to help out, but don’t have time? Make a donation. 🙂
