DCC Volleyball Has Game Packed Week

The DCC Volleyball team has had a busy week of home games. On Tuesday, October 22nd, the Bucs faced the Williston State College Tetons for a big conference game at the Toepke Center. The Lady Bucs fought for the win and finished off the Tetons in 4 sets with the scores 22-25, 25-17, 25-22, and 25-14. Team leaders were Shayna Baugh with 18 kills, 12 digs, and 4 solo blocks; Harlee Speth with 15 kills, 19 digs, and 1 ace; Kinzee Koch with 22 digs; and Nynah Bryant had 34 assists and 17 digs.
The following day, on Wednesday, October 23rd, the Toepke was filled with volleyball players from Rocky Mountain College’s JV, Dakota College at Bottineau, and the Lady Bucs. It was Pink Night. At 3pm, Rocky JV took on Bottineau and won in 4. At 5pm, the Lady Bucs challenged Rocky Mountain College’s JV and took the Bears to five sets, finishing it off with a win. The scores were 25-19, 23-25, 17-25, 25-22, and 15-10. Shayna Baugh led the way again with 30 kills, 11 digs, and 7 blocks. Harlee Speth added in 21 kills and 35 digs. Lily Pedersen contributed 5 kills and 3 digs. Nynah Bryant had 60 assists and 8 digs while Kinzee Koch had 29 digs and 2 aces.
In the late game on Wednesday night, the Lady Bucs faced Dakota College at Bottineau for a conference game. The Bucs lost a hard fought match in 4 sets by the score of 19-25, 25-9, 15-25, and 15-25. Team leaders were Harlee Speth with 17 kills and 13 digs and Shayna Baugh had 12 kills. Kiana Miller chipped in with 6 kills. Nynah Bryant had 34 assists and 5 digs and Samantha Egan had 13 digs and 1 ace.
This Sunday, October 27th, will be the Lady Buccaneer’s last home game. The Bucs will take on Miles City Community College at 7pm for a big conference game.
