DCC Softball Ranked in the Top 20 in New NJCAA Polls

Having the best record in the country in NJCAA Division II at 39-3, the DCC Lady Buccaneers Softball team broke into the national rankings for the first time ever in Division II at #20 this week.
The Lady Bucs are having their best season in Coach Jim LeProwse’s 9th year at the helm. They are 16-0 against conference opponents and 10-0 against regional opponents. They are undefeated in conference and region play and won the Mon-Dak Conference for the 7th time in 9 years.

5th in the nation for hits (478)
2nd in the nation for doubles (101)
10th in the nation for home Runs (43)
1st in the nation for RBI’s (381)
5th in the nation for extra base hits (158)
5th in the nation tor total bases (736)
6th in the nation for stolen bases (109)
7th in the nation for batting average (.401)
5th in the nation for on base percentage (.471)
7th in the nation for slugging percentage (.617)
4th in the nation for shutouts (13)
Dawson will be going into the Region XIII tournament on May 3rd-5th as the #1 seed. They will be hosting the tournament at BL Baker Memorial Field in Glendive.
